Comprehensive Behavioral Services is in Alabama (AL), and it provides a range of In-Person, Phone and Video counseling for individuals and families in need.

Company History
Where we Started
Comprehensive Behavioral Services was started by Terry and Darlene Crowe in 1996 and was the first state wide company to offer in-home and in-school mental health services for DHR. Dr. T. David Cunningham, the previous CBS Clinical Director, acquired the company in January of 2015.
Dr. T. David Cunningham was a Licensed Professional Counselor as well as a Supervising LPC. He was with CBS since the beginning and had over 35 years of experience in the mental health field when he retired. His experience included counseling all populations, teaching courses in the graduate counseling programs at UAB and the University of West Georgia, training counselors and social workers state wide, and he was frequently used as an expert witness in court.
In 2021, Dr. Cunningham retired. In June 2021 the company was acquired by Lisa C. Patton. Lisa Patton graduated in August 2000 with a degree in Psychology. In 2016 she went back to school and received her license for professional counseling and graduated in August 2018. She returned to school and completed her Education Specialist Degree in 2021. Currently CBS offers an array of counseling services for clients age 10 through adulthood.

We charge comparable to other counselors in the area; however, we do have a sliding scale and your charge will be based on your income.
